Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who had been both as a captain and a participant for the Fierce Five team in 2012 and the 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic Gymnastics team. At the 2012 Olympics in London she won gold medals for floor and team events, and a bronze medal on the balance beam. This meant that she was the very first American to compete at an Olympics with the highest medal count. Gold medals she took home at the Olympics in 2016 marked the second gold in a row for the United States team. This made her, together with her fellow teammate Gabby the first Americans to accomplish this feat. She also won two silver medals for the floor exercise as well as the individual all-around. Between the two Olympics she took an absence from competitive gymnastics for three years. The gold medal she won for the American team also took home two World Championships. Her first experience with gymnastics began at age of two and her favourite sport is floor exercise. Aly is a part of her organization, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer Organization in honor and memory of her mother. She hopes to become a fashion designer and expand her line of Leotards and socks in very near future. Fierce is a novel is due out later in the year.
