Jacques Bermon Webster I, born on April 30th, 1990 also known as Travis Scott (formerly Travi$ Scott) is an American rapper and singer. The stage name he uses is the combination of the name of a favorite uncle, and the initials Kid Cudi (whose real identity is Scott Mescudi), Scott signed his debut major-label contract in 2012 with Epic Records. He signed a joint recording contract with Epic Records and T.I. in April of 2013. He has signed with Epic and T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first project that was full-length called the mixtape Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in 2013. The project was followed by another mixtape, Days Before Rodeo, in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was his first album of studio work. It included the smash song "Antidote". The album that followed, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) earned him his first Billboard 200 top 100 album. Scott released his second album in conjunction with Quavo Huncho Jack Huncho (2016). The album was the third album he had recorded with Astroworld. Scott also recorded his first Billboard Hot 100 #1 single, "Sicko Mode" which featured Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records album JackBoys debuted on the Billboard 200 in late 2019. After the single "Franchise" featuring Scott (featuring Young Thug) and M.I.A. were released, it was a top hit on the Billboard 200. Scott was the first Hot 100 artist to have three songs reach the top spot within a mere decade , in the year 2020.
