 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the United States is an actress comedian, activist, and actress. She was born to Jewish parents from the Soviet Union and started her career as child actress after she relocated to the United States. Her most well-known work is her appearances on AT&T television commercials. In these commercials, she was Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and in 2020 (since 2020 (since). In addition to commercial appearances, she also appeared as an actor in the series on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She also starred in the role of a regular character on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. After being cast in the TV pilot unaired for New Warriors, Vayntrub also voices Squirrel Girl on Marvel Rising. Vayntrub was Jewish born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. When she was just two, she immigrated together with her parents to the U.S. to escape antisemitism. She was able to settle in West Hollywood. When she was five, she began appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was partly due to difficulties in the family's finances. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School. However, she quit school following her sophomore year. She earned an GED and then obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Communication) from University of California San Diego. Through the Upright Citizens Brigade she studied improv comedy.
